Company History

In late 1391, in accordance with the strategic plans developed by the National Petrochemical Company, this project was assigned to Shastan Commercial Investment Company under Contract No. 63871/17-1, dated 1391/10/18. The project was established to create added value by storing materials and products manufactured by the petrochemical complexes in Phase 2 of Asaluyeh and transporting them through export pipelines.
In this regard, and to accelerate the construction and operation of the pipelines transferring petrochemical products to Pars Export Terminal, the design, procurement, and construction of the export pipelines extending from the Asaluyeh Petrochemical Green Storage Company site to Pars Petrochemical Port were also assigned by the National Petrochemical Company to Shastan Commercial Investment Company under an agreement dated 1395/6/29.
The exclusive storage and export of more than 1,200,000 cubic metres of various petrochemical products manufactured by 15 complexes in Phase 2 of the Asaluyeh Petrochemical Zone have been planned at the Phase 2 Centralised Export Storage Terminal in Asaluyeh.

Phase One, dedicated to the storage of glycol, LPG, and methanol products, comprises 32 storage tanks as detailed below, which have now been constructed:
Glycol: Two MEG storage tanks, two DEG storage tanks, and two TEG storage tanks
LPG: Two propane storage tanks and one butane storage tank
Methanol: Four methanol storage tanks
The remaining Phase One facilities include eight methanol storage tanks and five glycol storage tanks. At present, six methanol tanks and three glycol tanks have been awarded to an EPC contractor for construction and, according to the project schedule, are expected to become operational by the end of 1400.
The award of the remaining two methanol storage tanks and two glycol storage tanks is currently at the initial contractor selection stage.
It should also be noted that Phase Two of Asaluyeh Petrochemical Green Storage Company is dedicated to products manufactured by Kian Petrochemical Company. Following the commencement of construction of that petrochemical complex, preliminary correspondence regarding the requirements of Phase Two of Asaluyeh Petrochemical Green Storage Company is currently underway.
